CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check in is available any time after 3:00pm
We usually operate a same day change over, our cleaning team will need their full allocated time slot to ensure the property is thoroughly cleaned and ready for you. If you are going to arrive at the property before 3:00pm and wish to store your luggage at the property, this will need to be pre-booked prior to your arrival.
Whilst we prepare for your arrival, you can enjoy a drink (or two!) up at the clubhouse onsite restaurant or grab some essentials at the onsite SPAR supermarket.
Check out any time before 10:00am
Again, we usually operate a same day changeover, so it is essential that you please check out on time, to allow us to prepare for our next guests.
TRAVELLING TO CASA KAMARI
We highly recommend that our guests hire a car to get the most from their stay. The road systems in the Murcia region are generally quiet and easy to navigate.
We recommend using Google maps as your sat nav, it’s one of the best ways to get around Spain. Casa Kamari is approximately 8km (15 min drive) from Murcia airport. Simply type in ‘El Valle Golf Resort’ and this will direct you to the resort.
Once you arrive here, please take the left-hand visitors entrance at the gatehouse and advise the security team know that you are guests at ‘Zafiro 57’ (Casa Kamari). Take the first exit(straight over) at the roundabout onto Calle Zafiro. Casa Kamari is at the top of the road.
THE VILLA
Gaining entry to Casa Kamari
There is a key safe located to the left-hand side of the front door of the villa.
Your code is 1980.
Please leave the keys back in the safe box when you check out.
Our key holder will have opened up the villa before you arrive and the alarm system will have been deactivated for you. If for any reason the alarm starts to beep when you enter the villa, simply hold the keyring fob (the round metal one) to the alarm box directly inside the front door and the alarm will turn off.

TELEVISION
The living area has a 50” Smart TV for our guests to enjoy which has Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the popular TV apps available. Please feel free to log in but remember to log out from your account when you checkout.
There is also a CLIC TV box underneath the TV which offers hundreds of films and channels from around the world. If the programming starts playing in Spanish you can pause and change the language to English in the settings menu.
PLANTS
The Villa has a number of plants both inside and on the pool terrace that we would love to keep alive! If you have a moment while you are staying at the villa, please feel free to give them a drink of water.
FANCY A BBQ
Please use the BBQ as often as you wish. It has been cleaned for your use prior to your arrival. BBQ coals can be purchased at the SPAR at the clubhouse.
However, if you do wish to use the BBQ, we kindly ask that you clean the BBQ before you depart.
AIRCONDITIONING, HEATING & LIGHTING
The villa is fully airconditioned. The air conditioning unit also acts a heater in the winter months. The control consol is located by the front door and can be set to the required interior temperature. (A set of instructions for the air conditioning unit is with the printed guest pack at the villa)
The pool and terrace area has lots of outdoor lighting to create a tranquil ambience, perfect for eating and socialising during the evening.
We kindly ask that the lights are not left on overnight and that the air conditioning is not left on while you are not in the property. (A few of the lights on the wall around the pool are solar powered so there is no switch for these)
GENERAL WASTE
There is a general waste bin in the kitchen. When this is full it can be emptied at the nearest communal bins, around 150m down the road on the right hand side. The bins are quite discreet as they are sunk into the ground. There are 4 bins for general waste and for recycling.
SPORT & FITNESS
The main sporting feature of the El Valle Resort, is undoubtably the spectacular 18–hole championship golf course. The large lakes and lush greens, making it a popular choice for golfers of all abilities. El Valle Golf Resort is the best golf experience in Murcia. To book a round please visit www.gnkgolf.com.
Golf Clubs and buggies can be hired via the golf pro shop at the clubhouse.
Tennis courts are also available free of charge for use during your stay. You will need to pre-book at security, or you can just pop along and ask if the court is free when you wish to play. It is essential you take €10 as a deposit for the key to the courts. There are tennis rackets and balls available to use in the wardrobe in the twin bedroom.
There is also a well equipped gym situated at the club house which features professional weight machines, treadmills, cycles, and more, open daily from 9am to 8:30pm. The fob on the main set of villa keys can be used to gain entry to the gym.
SUPERMARKETS
There is a reasonably large SPAR supermarket at the Clubhouse with a great selection of fresh food, frozen produce and beers and wine.
For a wider range of larger supermarkets, the most accessible are to be found in Los Alcazares, which is around a 15-20 min drive from the resort. Here you will find an Aldi, Lidl, Mercadona, Consume & Dia, all located within around 0.5km of each other.

BARS & RESTAURANTS OUTSIDE THE RESORT
Murcia city is buzzing at night and is only a 20min drive away. It is littered with side streets and squares which come alive at night with a wide array of restaurants and bars to choose from. Best to avoid Sundays and Mondays though as most of the shops and restaurants have limited opening hours or are closed.
The beach resorts of the Mar Menor are a 20 min drive in the other direction which during the summer months are extremely popular for lazy days at the beaches and for dinning out.

DAYS OUT & BEACHES
Los Alcazares
The coastline of Los Alcázares is 7km long, it has seven beaches.
There is a fantastic beach promenade, a marina, beach bars, restaurants – a majority of them still very Spanish. In the newer part of town there are also bars and restaurants with international menus. The locals in the area often come to the beaches in the evening and enjoy both the city’s restaurants and nightlife.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a large colourful street market in the streets of Los Alcázares, selling all kinds of traditional flair.
Santiago de la Ribera
Santiago de la Ribera has got a beautiful sandy beach. It’s a fishing town just outside San Javier. On one side is a beautiful older military academy.
The beach promenade is fantastic all year round, the centre of town also has a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a weekly market.
From Santiago de la Ribera you can take a boat trip to La Manga where you can swim in both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.
Lo Pagan
Lo Pagan is known for its therapeutic mud baths in the Mar Menor’s warm water. Here you can cover your body with mud from one of the salt lakes. Due to the presence of calcium, salt, iodine and magnesium, it has a medicinal effect. The skin feels refreshed after washing the mud off. Free admission – so a must try!
Along the beach runs a 6 km long promenade, from Santiago de la Ribera to the nature reserve San Pedro de Pinatar, where the flamingos live. Flamingos also quite often come to visit when mud bathing.
In the centre of Lo Pagán you will find bars, wonderful restaurants, and lovely local shops.
Murcia City
Spain’s seventh largest city. Its history dates back to the year 825. It is also called Europe’s orchard because of its long tradition of producing and exporting fruit, vegetables and flowers. The area is also well known for the production of wine.
It is a fantastic city, with lots of history marked by different cultures.
Interesting buildings include the city’s Cathedral “Cathedral de Santa Maria”, the beautiful town hall and its casino (formerly the gentleman’s club) in Traperia.
There are lots of cosy alleys and squares in the old town which is next to the Segura river. Here are both traditional and international cafes, bars and restaurants – nightlife is also absolutely fantastic!
Cartagena
Cartagena is an ancient port city and the most important Spanish naval base on the Mediterranean. There are an incredible number of castles scattered around the city – there are ruins / remains of buildings from the Romans, Byzantines and Moors. The centre piece being a fantastically well preserved 1st century Roman theatre. The town is characterised by the fact that they keep finding archaeological sites from Roman times.
The port remains incredibly important to the city, still used by the Spanish navy, it houses shipyards and is also a well-known destination for cruise ships.
The city centre has a lot of charm, long pedestrians streets with exciting side streets filled with cosy cafes, bars and restaurants – all still typically Spanish.
Cabo Roig
The “Red Cape”, the name given by the red rock that forms its cape. Cabo Roig is a headland that goes into the sea and is surrounded by its famous white beaches, all of them with a blue flag for their services, access, cleanliness, safety and the quality of their waters.
A beautiful and romantic promenade allows you to walk along the entire coastline.
A large selection of bars, restaurants and shops are found in the Cabo Roig strip with a vibrant nightlife with a wide variety different styles and atmospheres.
On Thursdays throughout the year there is a weekly market from 9 am to 2 pm.
Just outside the resort is Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, which is one of the largest shopping centres in the Mediterranean basin.
Terra Natura & Aqua Natura Murcia
Terra Natura Murcia is a zoo & water park open all year around. It has animals from the Iberian Peninsula and also from the African Savana.

SHOPPING
El Corte Ingles is a branch of the renowned Spanish retail group located in the city of Murcia. It offers a diverse range of products including clothing, accessories, electronics, household items, and more. The store features various departments and sections, often including a supermarket, restaurants, and additional services. Branches of other major stores such as Zara, Mango etc are to be found close-by.
There is also a very good selection of shops at the air conditioned Neuvo Condomina in Murcia.
